This Buddhist art work created with a single wire embodies the Buddhist concept of “śūnya”, which means “all existence lacks fixed substance, existing solely through relationships and connections with others”. All plants and animals are depicted as interconnected within the flow of water.
※ This is a wire drawing work created by tracing a single wire in a continuous, single-stroke manner. The two-dimensional “line” unfolds into a three-dimensional form, and when illuminated, casts shadows, thereby expanding into multiple dimensions.
本作は、仏教における「空（くう）」をテーマにした作品です。「すべての存在は、固定された実体を持たず、他との関係や縁によってのみ存在している」という「空」の考えを、1本の針金で表現した仏像作品です。全ての動植物が一本に繋がっており、水の流れと共に描いています。
※ 1本の針金を一筆書きの要領で描くワイヤードローイング作品です。「線」である二次元が立体的な三次元へ展開し、光を当てると影を落とすことで多次元に展開していきます。
